On how his faith got him and wife through the multiple surgeries: "Before he went into surgery they wheeled him out, we all grabbed hands and I prayed over him. I prayed for his strength and I praised God that we had even one day to spend with him."
"If you only knew, I would go into the bathroom and cry my eyes out. You can be a real Christian, but, be dying inside, you know, because we're human.”
