Brian Kelly
Senior Associate Athletics Director | Georgia State University
In his own words…
Brian Kelly joined the Georgia State Department of Athletics in November 2014 and currently serves as Senior Associate A.D. for External Affairs. With this role, Kelly will oversee all aspects of the external unit, including ticketing, marketing, corporate sales, communications, video and creative services, broadcasting and licensing. He will also serve as sport administrator for men's and women's tennis as well as the cheerleading and spirit squad and the marching band.
Kelly came to Atlanta from NC State, where he was Associate A.D. for Ticket Sales and Operations. He was with the Wolfpack for 13 years, initially starting as a summer ticket office intern in 2001. He progressed through the ticket office, serving as ticket office assistant, assistant ticket manager, assistant director of ticket operations and director of ticket operations. Kelly also was the sport administrator for men's and women's tennis and wrestling.
A three-year starter and captain of the lacrosse team at his alma mater, DeSales University, Kelly earned a degree in sport management in 1999. He went on to receive his master's in sports management in 2000 from Robert Morris.
Kelly and his wife, Laurie, have two children: a son, Caiden John (CJ), and a daughter, Berkleigh.
